REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Connecticut Chapter of the Nature Conservancy (TNC) via the following “Request for Proposals” is looking to establish a Contractor(s) to provide permitting, design, and build/construction services to complete the Esker Point and Palmer Cove Coastal Resilience Project in the Town of Groton, Connecticut. The resulting outcomes of this Project, once installed, will help to better manage coastal erosion/storm surge, increase the quantity and quality of habitat, and maximize stormwater runoff infiltration and water quality improvements in the adjoining tidal embayment of Long Island Sound. This Project is part of TNC’s Community Resilience Building (CRB) Program, which is creating networks of resilient and sustainable municipalities and communities with climate action plans in place and prioritized nature-based solutions permitted, designed, and implemented.
